步屧深林晚,开樽独酌迟。 I stroll late deep in the woods, I open the jug and am slow to pour a cup for myself. |
仰蜂黏落絮,行蚁上枯梨。 A bee facing upward, stuck to fallen floss, ants in line climb a dried-up pear tree. |
薄劣惭真隐,幽偏得自怡。 An inferior sort, true reclusion puts me to shame, yet I can enjoy myself in secluded places. |
本无轩冕意,不是傲当时。 I have no thoughts of coach and cap, but it’s not a case of scorning these times. |
