Long lunches: 或“a long lunch”，最一开始是指地中海一带南欧国家惯有的午休习惯，他们的午饷时间可以是从12点到2点，比起不设午休的国家的半小时午饭休息来说，当然是“long lunches”了。
现在，尤其是在仍然不设午休的国家地区，通常是指休闲自在的、虽为果腹但亦为享受的午餐，可能会带有餐酒，两菜色或三菜色等。
不过注意哦，英文还有“the long lunch”的说法，特指一种午休，意思是“… … the act of sending an employee to a lunch without pay and often without an end”。即时间超长、可以永不结束的午休，意思就是给炒鱿鱼啦😢
所以不要随便跟从Google，把“long lunches” 译成“长午餐”哦🤣。
